Last Updated: August 19, 2026

This Limited Warranty applies to eligible UpGoing e-bikes purchased through upgoing.com.

This warranty is separate from our Return & Refund Policy. Returns requested for personal reasons are subject to the conditions of our Return & Refund Policy.

1. Warranty Coverage

UpGoing provides a 1-year limited warranty for eligible e-bikes against defects in materials and workmanship under normal and intended use.

This warranty applies only to defects that arise under normal use of the product and are confirmed by UpGoing through our warranty review process.

The warranty period begins on delivery date.

2. Warranty Period

Eligible covered components are warranted for 1 year.

Covered components may include:

  • Frame

  • Motor

  • Battery

  • Controller

  • Display

  • Charger

  • Electrical components

  • Other components confirmed by UpGoing to be covered under this Limited Warranty

The applicable warranty period does not restart when a component is repaired or replaced, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

3. What This Warranty Covers

During the 1-year warranty period, this Limited Warranty covers confirmed defects in materials or workmanship affecting covered components.

Depending on the nature of the issue, UpGoing may provide one or more of the following remedies:

  • Troubleshooting or technical assistance.

  • Replacement parts.

  • Repair assistance.

  • Replacement of a defective component.

  • Replacement of the product where appropriate.

  • Another reasonable warranty solution based on the specific issue.

The appropriate remedy will depend on the nature and severity of the confirmed defect.

4. What This Warranty Does Not Cover

Unless otherwise required by applicable law, this Limited Warranty does not cover damage or failure resulting from:

  • Normal wear and tear.

  • Misuse, abuse, neglect, or improper operation.

  • Accidents, collisions, crashes, or external impact.

  • Improper assembly, installation, maintenance, or repair.

  • Unauthorized modifications or alterations.

  • Use of incompatible components or accessories that causes damage to the product.

  • Failure to follow the instructions in the user manual.

  • Improper storage or prolonged exposure to unsuitable environmental conditions.

  • Damage caused by fire, flood, severe weather, natural disasters, or other external events.

  • Commercial, rental, racing, stunt, or other use outside the product’s intended purpose.

  • Cosmetic damage that does not affect normal product function.

  • Damage occurring during transportation arranged independently by the customer.

  • Loss, theft, or vandalism.

Normal deterioration resulting from regular use is not considered a manufacturing defect.

Wear Items

Normal wear items such as tires, tubes, brake pads, chains, grips, and similar consumable components are not covered for normal wear and tear.

If a wear item is defective when the product is delivered, please contact UpGoing so we can review the issue.

5. Battery Warranty

The battery is covered by the 1-year limited warranty for confirmed defects in materials or workmanship.

Battery capacity naturally decreases with use and over time. Normal battery capacity degradation is not considered a manufacturing defect.

Battery warranty coverage does not apply to damage caused by improper charging, improper storage, misuse, physical damage, unauthorized modification, or failure to follow the charging and storage instructions provided with the product.

  5. Photographs or videos showing the problem.

  6. Any additional information reasonably requested by our customer support team.

UpGoing may ask you to complete reasonable troubleshooting steps before determining the appropriate warranty solution.

Providing clear photographs, videos, and other requested information can help us identify the issue and determine the appropriate solution.

7. Warranty Review

After receiving your warranty claim, UpGoing will review the information provided and determine whether the issue is covered by this Limited Warranty.

Depending on the issue, we may:

8. Replacement Parts and Repairs

If UpGoing determines that a covered component is defective, we may provide a replacement component or another appropriate remedy.

Customers may be required to reasonably assist with basic troubleshooting or replacement procedures where appropriate.

If professional repair or installation is required, please contact UpGoing before arranging service.

UpGoing does not guarantee reimbursement for repair services, labor charges, or other expenses arranged independently by the customer without prior authorization.

9. Warranty Shipping Costs

If UpGoing confirms that a product or component is covered under this Limited Warranty and a return is required, UpGoing will provide the authorized return shipping label and cover the authorized return shipping cost.

Customers should not arrange their own return shipping unless specifically authorized by UpGoing.

UpGoing may not reimburse unauthorized shipping, repair, labor, or other costs incurred without prior approval.

If inspection determines that the issue is not covered by this Limited Warranty, any further shipping or service costs will be communicated to the customer before additional action is taken.

10. Parts and Accessories

Parts and accessories are not eligible for return or exchange under our standard Return & Refund Policy.

If a part or accessory arrives defective, damaged, incorrect, or missing, please contact support@upgoing.com.

UpGoing will review the issue and may provide a replacement, refund, or another appropriate solution where the issue is confirmed to be caused by a product defect, shipping damage, incorrect shipment, missing item, or another UpGoing error.

11. Warranty Eligibility

This Limited Warranty applies to eligible UpGoing e-bikes purchased through upgoing.com.

Proof of purchase may be required to verify warranty eligibility and the applicable warranty period.

[TO CONFIRM: Whether warranty coverage applies only to the original purchaser or may transfer to a subsequent owner.]

12. Returns and Refunds

Warranty claims and standard returns are handled separately.

A product defect does not automatically require the entire e-bike to be returned. Depending on the issue, UpGoing may first provide troubleshooting, replacement parts, repair assistance, or another appropriate warranty solution.

For returns unrelated to a confirmed product defect or UpGoing error, please refer to our Return & Refund Policy.

For shipping-related issues, including shipping damage, refused deliveries, address changes, and carrier interception, please refer to our Shipping Policy.

13. Your Legal Rights

This Limited Warranty provides contractual warranty rights in addition to any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from State to State.

Nothing in this Limited Warranty is intended to exclude or limit rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
