Payment Policy

Last Updated: August 26, 2026

This Payment Policy applies to orders placed through upgoing.com.

1. Accepted Payment Methods

UpGoing accepts the payment methods displayed at checkout.

Available payment methods may vary depending on your location, order, and the payment services available at the time of purchase.

Please select one of the available payment methods shown at checkout to complete your order.

2. Currency

All prices and transactions on upgoing.com are processed in U.S. dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated.

If your payment account uses another currency, your bank, card issuer, or payment provider may apply its own exchange rate or additional fees. These charges are determined by the applicable financial institution or payment provider and are not controlled by UpGoing.

3. Payment Authorization

Payment must be successfully authorized before an order can be processed.

When you place an order, your payment method may be authorized or charged according to the payment method and payment provider you select.

Submitting an order or completing payment does not guarantee that the order has been accepted or shipped.

An order may be delayed, placed on hold, or canceled if:

  • Payment cannot be authorized.

  • Payment or billing information is incomplete or incorrect.

  • The payment provider declines the transaction.

  • Additional verification is required.

  • The order is identified as potentially unauthorized or fraudulent.

  • A pricing, inventory, or technical error affects the order.

If a paid order is canceled by UpGoing, any eligible refund will be issued to the original payment method.

4. Billing Information

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate billing and payment information.

Incorrect or incomplete billing information may result in a declined payment, delayed order, or order cancellation.

If you believe you entered incorrect payment or billing information, please contact support@upgoing.com as soon as possible.

5. Payment Security

Payments made through our website are processed through secure third-party payment services.

UpGoing does not directly control the payment systems operated by banks, card issuers, or third-party payment providers.

Your use of a third-party payment service may also be subject to that provider's terms, privacy policy, and security practices.

For information about how we handle personal information, please review our Privacy Policy.

6. Declined or Failed Payments

A payment may be declined or fail for reasons determined by your bank, card issuer, or payment provider.

If your payment is declined, please:

  1. Confirm that your payment information is correct.

  2. Confirm that your billing address matches the information associated with your payment method.

  3. Contact your bank, card issuer, or payment provider if necessary.

  4. Try another payment method available at checkout.

UpGoing may not receive detailed information explaining why a transaction was declined.

7. Payment Verification and Fraud Prevention

To help prevent unauthorized transactions and fraud, UpGoing may review orders before fulfillment.

In some cases, we may request additional information reasonably necessary to verify an order, including billing, shipping, or order-related information.

UpGoing reserves the right to place an order on hold or cancel an order if we are unable to reasonably verify the transaction or believe the order may involve fraud, unauthorized payment, abuse, or other suspicious activity.

If a paid order is canceled during this review, the applicable refund will be issued to the original payment method.

8. Sales Tax

Where required by applicable law, sales tax or other applicable taxes will be calculated based on the order and delivery address and displayed during checkout.

The final order total, including applicable taxes, will be displayed before you complete your purchase.

9. Pricing Errors

UpGoing makes reasonable efforts to ensure that prices displayed on our website are accurate.

However, pricing, promotional, technical, or system errors may occasionally occur.

If an obvious pricing error affects an order, UpGoing may contact the customer before fulfillment.

UpGoing reserves the right to cancel an order affected by an obvious pricing or technical error. If payment has already been collected, the applicable amount will be refunded to the original payment method.

10. Discounts and Promotional Codes

Promotional codes and discounts are subject to the terms of the applicable promotion.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Promotional codes must be applied during checkout.

  • Discounts cannot be applied retroactively after an order has been completed.

  • Promotional offers may have expiration dates, eligibility requirements, or product exclusions.

  • Multiple promotional offers may not be combined unless specifically permitted.

  • Promotional codes have no cash value.

11. Installment Payments

If an installment payment or Buy Now, Pay Later option is available at checkout, the service is provided by the applicable third-party payment provider.

Eligibility, approval, payment schedules, interest, fees, credit decisions, and other financing terms are determined by that provider.

UpGoing does not control whether a customer is approved for an installment payment service.

Please review the applicable provider's terms before selecting an installment payment option.

12. Cancellations and Refunds

Order cancellations, returns, and refunds are subject to our applicable policies.

For order cancellations and shipping-related changes, please review our Shipping Policy.

For return eligibility and refund conditions, please review our Return & Refund Policy.

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the order.

For approved product returns, once the returned product has been received and inspected by our warehouse, UpGoing generally processes the refund within 3–5 business days.

After UpGoing issues a refund, your bank, card issuer, or payment provider may require additional time to post the funds to your account.

13. Authorization Holds

In some cases, your bank or payment provider may place a temporary authorization hold on your account when you attempt to place an order.

If an order is canceled or not completed, the authorization may remain visible temporarily until it is released by your bank or payment provider.

The time required to release an authorization hold is determined by the applicable financial institution.

14. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks

If you believe there is an issue with a payment or charge from UpGoing, please contact support@upgoing.com so we can review the issue.

If a payment dispute or chargeback is submitted through a bank or payment provider, UpGoing may provide relevant order, payment, shipping, delivery, communication, and other transaction information to the applicable financial institution or payment provider as part of the dispute process.
